A RELIABLE PATH TO PENSION PLAN SECURITY

In recent years, the demand for up-to-date information on a pension fund’s current financial situation has grown significantly. Nowadays, the early tracking of a pension fund’s financial situation is crucial. Adjustments must be able to be made in good time. To show a pension fund's financial situation on any given reference date, its net assets must be compared with the mathematical reserve required to satisfy its pension promises. There are any number of financial indices which can be used to track market trends. On the liabilities side, however, no such tools were available. The Liability Index is designed to fill that gap.
